SummerSchool Energy – Financing, participation, and environmental protection in community renewable energy projects
Community renewable energy facilities are key to the energy transition. During our summer school we want to explore the intersections of financing, participation, and environmental protection within the planning and implementation of community renewable energy projects.
The SummerSchool Energy provides space for master’s and PhD students to share insights, make new contacts, and gain practical experience. Here you can discuss how and why citizens should participate in financing the energy transition and what role biodiversity and international frameworks play in the planning of renewable energy plants. In a collaborative atmosphere, we will work out how further control mechanisms can be created.
